1200-5 Series Five-Roll Tube Expanders for Thin-Walled Tubes
The 1200-5 Series combines a long-reach design with a five-roll configuration for thin-walled tubes. It is designed for thicker tube sheets, longer reach, and sensitive tube materials.
The five-roll design produces a more uniform, concentric expansion than conventional three-roll tools and reduces springback. The series is recommended for thin-walled tubes made of stainless steel, titanium, Incoloy, and other demanding materials.
Application Range and Adjustment Range
Application: Tube expansion on thin-walled tubes in thicker tubesheets, especially for 19 to 22 gauge tube wall thicknesses and demanding materials.
- for tube inner diameters from 14.8 mm (.584") to 36.3 mm (1.43")
- for tube outer diameters 3/4" to 1.1/2"
- recommended for stainless steel, titanium, Incoloy, and other special materials
- five-roll design for concentric, uniform expansion
- for thicker tube sheets and longer reaches; special sizes available upon request

Note: For best results, a Thin Wall Thrust Collar should be used when rolling 19 to 22 gauge thin-walled tubes. Models 1223-5 to 1258-5 are supplied with 3/8" square mandrels. Models 1263-5 to 1300-5 are supplied with 1/2" square mandrels.
