Hydraulic Hand Pumps
Hand pumps require neither electricity nor compressed air, making them particularly suitable for mobile assembly, maintenance, and service work. The operator can control pressure build-up very precisely.
For classic industrial hydraulics, 700-bar hand pumps for single-acting cylinders and pumps for double-acting cylinders are available, among others.
Battery-Powered Hydraulic Pumps
Battery-powered hydraulic pumps combine the mobility of a hand pump with a motor drive. They are particularly suitable when hydraulic tools are operated regularly, but no mains connection is available on site.
A typical application is the mobile operation of hydraulic cylinders, spreading wedges, lifting wedges, or other 700-bar tools.
Electric Hydraulic Pumps
Electrically driven pumps reduce manual effort and are particularly interesting for frequent work cycles or larger hydraulic systems.
Two-stage systems can provide a higher flow volume in the low-pressure range for fast idle strokes and then automatically switch to the high-pressure stage.
Pneumatic Hydraulic Pumps

However, an identical maximum operating pressure does not automatically mean that every 700-bar pump can be optimally combined with every 700-bar tool. Tank volume, usable oil volume, flow rate, valve control, connections, and couplings must also be considered.
High-Pressure Hydraulic Pumps above 700 bar
For special high-pressure tools and industrial applications, pumps with significantly higher operating pressures are available. Depending on the application, the hyTool range includes pumps in different pressure stages up to several thousand bar.
With such systems, precise coordination is particularly important. Pump, hose, couplings, pressure gauge, fittings, and connected tool must be designed for the respective maximum operating pressure.
Pump for single-acting or double-acting hydraulic cylinders?
Single-Acting Consumers
In a single-acting hydraulic cylinder, the working stroke is generated hydraulically. The return can occur, for example, via an integrated spring.
For this, a pump with an appropriate valve function for single-acting consumers is used.
Double-Acting Consumers
Double-acting cylinders are moved hydraulically in both directions. The pump or hydraulic power unit therefore requires suitable valve control for both cylinder chambers.
Existing pumps should therefore not be selected solely based on operating pressure.
