The PYP-03 electric motor pumps are compact, portable electro-hydraulic pumps for professional use with single-acting hydraulic cylinders. They are ideal for assembly, maintenance, repair, workshop, and industrial applications where hydraulic cylinders need to be operated safely, precisely, and with significantly less effort than with a hand pump.

The PYP-03 series pumps operate with a two-stage flow rate. In the low-pressure range, a higher flow rate is provided for rapid extension of the connected hydraulic cylinder. In the high-pressure range, the flow rate automatically reduces, allowing the pressure to build up in a controlled manner. The maximum operating pressure is 700 bar.

The PYP-03 is designed for single-acting hydraulic cylinders with spring return. It is suitable for cylinders of the YS, YLS, YFS, YCS, YPL, and YELB series, among others. The maximum usable oil volume is 2.7 liters. This makes the pump a powerful and convenient solution for many standard applications in industrial hydraulics.

Difference between variants: Manual valve or solenoid valve

The main difference between the PYP-03 variants lies in the valve actuation. Depending on the version, the pump is equipped with a 2/2-way manual valve or a 2/2-way solenoid valve.

In the version with a manual valve, the valve is actuated mechanically directly on the pump. This variant is particularly robust, easy to operate, and practical when the operator is directly at the pump during the work process. The manual valve controls the oil flow to the single-acting cylinder and enables controlled extension, holding, and retraction of the cylinder.

In the version with a solenoid valve, valve actuation is electric via the cable remote control. This allows the operator to control the hydraulic cylinder from a safe distance and remain more mobile during the work process. This variant is particularly suitable if the pump should not be placed directly at the workpiece or if the work area requires operation from a distance.

Both variants enable safe load holding and controlled cylinder movement. The cable remote control with a 1.5 m cable length is used to switch the electric motor on and off. In the version with a solenoid valve, the valve function is also switched electrically.

Continuously adjustable operating pressure

An integrated pressure switch allows for continuous adjustment of the maximum operating pressure. This means the pump can be adapted to the respective application and the hydraulic cylinder being used. The factory-fitted, glycerine-damped pressure gauge directly displays the current system pressure and facilitates control during the work process.

The motor can start under full load. The PYP-03 is designed for intermittent operation. The duty cycle is 50% ED, corresponding to 5 minutes of continuous operation under full load.

Lightweight, robust, and portable

Due to its low weight, practical carrying handle, and compact design, the PYP-03 electric motor pump is easy to transport and can be used flexibly at various locations. The robust heavy-duty design is built for daily use in workshops, assembly, and industrial maintenance.
