800-5 Series Five-Roll Tube Expander for Thin-Walled Tubes
The 800-5 Series is designed for precise expansion of thin-walled tubes. The five-roll design ensures a more uniform, concentric expansion and reduces the spring-back effect compared to conventional three-roll tube expanders.
This series is recommended for thin-walled tubes made of stainless steel, titanium, Incoloy, and other challenging materials. It covers tube outer diameters from 5/8" to 1.1/2" and tube inner diameters from 12.9 mm to 36.7 mm.
Application Range and Adjustment Range
Application: Tube expansion for thin-walled tubes, especially for 19 to 22 gauge tube wall thickness and demanding materials.
- for tube inner diameters from 12.9 mm (.509") to 36.7 mm (1.44")
- for tube outer diameters 5/8" to 1.1/2"
- recommended for stainless steel, titanium, Incoloy and other exotic materials
- more uniform, concentric expansion compared to conventional three-roll tools
- reduces spring-back effect in thin-walled tubes

Note: For best results when rolling 19 through 22 gauge thin wall tubing, a Thin Wall Thrust Collar should be used. Models 815-5 through 858-5 come with 3/8" square mandrel. Models 859-5 through 900-5 come with 1/2" square mandrel.
