Freecorner profile

The Freecorner profile was developed to transfer the power transmission from the delicate corners of the fastener to the load-bearing surfaces. This reduces stress peaks, minimizes the risk of rounding, and increases the service life of both the socket and the fastener. Compared to conventional profiles, lower contact stresses occur. The force is distributed more evenly and the load does not concentrate on the corners.

Features of the impact sockets

The impact sockets are made from high-strength alloy steel and heat-treated. The optimized wall thickness offers a combination of strength and accessibility. All sockets have chamfered openings for easy attachment and are black oxidized and phosphated to increase corrosion resistance.
