PMF Series Mechanical Flange Spreader
The PMF series mechanical flange spreaders are the ideal solution for safe, controlled, and spark-free separation of flange connections in industrial plants, piping systems, refineries, chemical plants, power plants, and general plant construction. Thanks to their purely mechanical operating principle, these tools operate without hydraulics, pneumatics, or external power sources, making them particularly suitable for use in explosive atmospheres as well as for on-site maintenance and repair work.
The PMF series enables precise opening of flanges using a robust threaded spindle. The applied force can be controlled and dosed evenly, preventing damage to sealing surfaces and flanges. Due to their compact design and low weight, the flange spreaders are easy to transport and can also be used in confined work areas.
With six different models, the PMF series covers a wide range of applications. The tools are designed for bolt diameters up to 31 mm and allow spreading widths of up to 231 mm, depending on the model. Even heavy flange connections with material thicknesses up to 2 × 95 mm can be safely separated. The robust construction ensures a long service life and reliable performance even under demanding industrial conditions.
The mechanical flange spreaders are ideal for pipeline maintenance, gasket replacement, maintenance work on flange connections, and for assembly and disassembly work in the process industry. Due to their spark-free operation and the absence of external energy sources, they offer a particularly economical and safe alternative to hydraulic systems. The technical data and model variants of the PMF series include bolt diameters from 16 to 31 mm, maximum flange thicknesses up to 2 × 95 mm, and opening widths up to 231 mm.
