AL Series Tube Expanders
The AL Series tube expanders are precise tools for the controlled expansion of thin-walled metal tubes, especially in refrigeration, air conditioning, and installation technology. They enable a precisely fitting expansion of the tube end, so that a tube of the same dimension can be inserted and then securely soldered. The defined expansion creates a uniform joining zone with optimal play for tight and durable connections.
The AL Series is characterized by clean, uniform expansion without material damage. The tools are designed for professional use and ensure reproducible results even with frequent application. The precise coordination of expander and roller set ensures uniform force distribution and minimizes the risk of cracks or deformation.
Typical applications include maintenance, installation, and repair of piping systems in industry, trades, and refrigeration and air conditioning technology. The compact design also allows use in confined work areas. All AL Series models are supplied with a round mandrel drive and are available for various tube diameters.
