ECC Pipe Cutter for Industrial Pipe Severing
The External Casing Cutter, or ECC for short, is used here as an external pipe cutter. The tool is used for precise, cold cutting of pipes, pipelines, casing pipes, and cylindrical components. It is clamped externally onto the pipe and performs a concentric circumferential cut. This makes the pipe cutter suitable not only for oil and gas applications but generally for industrial pipe severing in various industries.

Technical Benefits

The ECC pipe cutter is used when pipes, pipelines, casing pipes, or other cylindrical structures need to be severed controllably from the outside. Typical applications include industrial maintenance, plant construction, pipeline construction, power plant service, chemical and petrochemical facilities, shipbuilding, decommissioning, and general service work on large pipes. The ECC is available in two drive versions: standard with electric drive or with pneumatic drive for operation in Ex-zones (ATEX).
