This robust hydraulic cylinder is characterized by extremely good side load tolerance and is very handy as it features spring return and only one hose connection.

Universal cylinders can be used for all tasks where high force and small dimensions are required, such as pressing out shafts, straightening welded structures, lifting, aligning, supporting, weighing, etc., or for all universal assembly and repair work.

Thanks to the standard mounting holes in the cylinder housing, this cylinder is ideally suited for installation in fixtures and workshop presses.

NOTE: To achieve the lowest possible overall height, the connection thread for the coupling sleeve is positioned 5° offset from the horizontal.

Features and workmanship

• Double bronze guide of the piston rod, which provides optimal sliding properties between the piston and housing under side load.
• With dirt wiper
• Particularly tolerant to side loads due to long piston guides
• Housing and piston made of solid chrome-molybdenum steel, hardened and tempered.
• with hard chrome-plated piston rod for optimal protection against mechanical damage and corrosion
• With 2 mounting holes 5.5mm in the housing
• Fully loadable stop ring as piston end stop.
• Oil connection thread 3/8"-NPT, 5° offset from horizontal
• Including coupling sleeve CFY-1 and dust cap CDF-9
