Product description

The Yale YCH hollow piston cylinders are double-acting hydraulic cylinders with a hollow piston, ideal for pulling, pressing, lifting, and tensioning operations in industry, steel construction, heavy-duty assembly, and maintenance. Like the Yale YCS series, YCH cylinders feature a hollow piston for use with threaded rods, tensioning bolts, or tie rods.

In contrast to the single-acting YCS series, the YCH series is double-acting. This allows the cylinder to both push and pull hydraulically, enabling controlled working and return strokes without spring return. The robust steel construction, high operational safety, and maximum operating pressure of 700 bar make the Yale YCH series a professional solution for demanding industrial applications.

Typical applications include pre-tensioning and loosening large bolted connections, pressing out bearings, straightening work, and general lifting and pulling applications in industrial environments. Suitable hydraulic pumps, couplings, hoses, and accessories are also available from hyTool.

Custom designs up to a pulling force of 600 t are available upon request.
