The HSW-14 hydraulic spreading wedge is a compact high-pressure tool for controlled separation, lifting, and spreading of components. With a spreading force of 15 tons and a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar, the spreader is ideal for maintenance, repair, and assembly work in industry, mechanical engineering, pipeline construction, power plants, petrochemicals, and heavy industry.
Thanks to its low entry gap of only 6.5 mm, the hydraulic spreader can also be used in confined spaces. The maximum spreading height of 15 mm allows for safe opening of flange connections, loosening of stuck components, and creating a defined working distance for further assembly or disassembly work.
The HSW-14 is often used for flange spreading, replacing gaskets and metal seals, pipeline repairs, maintenance on pumps and fittings, and maintenance work on heavy machinery and industrial plants. Its compact design and low weight of only 3.7 kg make the tool comfortable to use even in hard-to-reach places.
The hydraulic spreading wedge works with standard 700-bar hydraulic pumps and offers high occupational safety and precise power transmission. This minimizes damage to flanges, pipelines, and machine components.
