The HSW 25 is a high-performance hydraulic spreading wedge specifically designed for industrial applications such as flange spreading, machine installation, and routine maintenance. The tool boasts an extremely favorable power-to-weight ratio. Weighing only 10 kg, the spreader generates a thrust force of up to 25 tons at a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi).

Technical Features and Precision

The design of the HSW 25 allows for use in areas with minimal space. One of its key strengths is the low insertion height (access gap) of just 6 mm. This enables the tool to be positioned in the tightest gaps without damaging the material or flange surfaces.

The automatic spring return ensures quick readiness for successive work cycles. Additionally, an integrated safety lock at the first step significantly increases operational safety, as it effectively prevents the wedge from slipping under load. The force is applied purely vertically, which eliminates sideways shifting or tilting of the load.

Efficiency in Industrial Processes

The HSW 25 reduces time and costs during maintenance shutdowns, valve changes, or commissioning. Thanks to the hydraulic drive via an external hand or motor pump, the user can precisely control the spreading force from a safe distance.

For projects that exceed the capacity of a single unit, multiple HSW 25 units can be synchronized. In the Maxi Kit configuration, two spreaders are used, jointly achieving a total spreading force of 50 tons and ensuring even load distribution for large flange diameters. The robust design guarantees a long service life with minimal maintenance, even under extreme conditions.
